2025 The Bread Igniter Roadmap for Projects

 Eyo! I might as well give you guys some updates or at least lay out what to look forward to for 2025.  Let this also be a reminder for me onto what I need to do and when I should finish them.

First of all, if you've known me before I've created this blog, of course would be "The Final Flame". It is a top-down 2D action game much like an older project of mine, but this time as a roguelite. I aim to get a demo out by April 5, 2025 and then keep building on it for about a year.

The game will just be short and simple, nothing big. Premise is just your typical "climb up a tower and stop the villain from destroying the world".

You, the player, will initially start with 3 characters to choose from and then unlocking characters as you progress up for a total of 11 playable characters,4 of which will be available on the upcoming demo, all of them are vtuber friends of mine, so please do check em all out!

Each character will have a Passive Ability, a Skill attack, and an Ultimate. You will also be able to bring 2 other characters an assist in case you run into enemies that maybe strong against the character you are currently using.

When called for an assist, the characters will use their ultimate ability, once used will go on cooldown, before they can be called for again.

 You will also be able to equip a "Falucite" a crystalized magic which lets you use magic cast by enemies and also gives you stat bonuses.

The mobs for the game will be your bread and butter RPG enemies while adding one or two joke mobs there. For the bosses, aside from the final boss, I intend to use bosses me and my friends have faced in our collabs, and also do my best to include our running gags whenever we streamed together.

After that would be another project, hopefully in collaboration with a friend of mine in the vtuber space, in relation to our DND campaign.  However, I'm still thinking about what I wanna do with it. Whether I make it a full on Turn-based strategy RPG like Final Fantasy Tactics or a 2D fighting game both of which are something I've been really wanting to make for a long time now. So we'll see, I still got plenty of time to think about it, but those are the two things I'm leaning forward to. If I do one, then the next project will be the other later down the line so that either way I still get to try out making new stuff this year.

 So, I just really hope I can get something done, it doesn't have to be all of this, but at least I wanna see something move forward and finally get something off the ground this year, and I just hope you guys will like em!

Next, since of course making a game doesn't just happen overnight. I will post here on this blog maybe once a week to feature a project I made previously and maybe put in some insight as to what went on with its development or how they came to be, and if you guys like the game or idea itself then let me know, maybe I'll bring em back in some way.
