That Sprite Comic I made back in highschool...

 As promised, I would show you guys all the stuff I made from the past while working on "The Final Flame". Going all the way back to the very beginning.

While this maybe what I think is the most cringe thing I've ever made... "The Endless Rebellion" or what I would refer to as TER, is what brought me where I am today and is probably something all my older friends will remember me of.

Created back in January 10, 2011, as a member of Zero Virus Forums. I was always fond of the sprite comics they made when I first joined around 2003, and since then really wanted to make my own big series, but at the time I just really didn't know how to do sprites, but wasn't until 2011 when I was finally matured enough to make something.

At the start, the comic was just something I slapped me and my friends onto a Megaman universe comic with alot of action sequences. The plot didn't really exist, and everything was all over the place. It wasn't until the comic reached Chapter 10 where I finally decided to give the comic direction and would finally be something I at least would be proud of making.

Moving forward, I thought that I really didn't want my life's work to be heavily centered around the Megaman series and so I ended the comic at Chapter 16, but ended it with a bang by making Chapter 17 a full sprite animation.

My idea was that I would remake the comic removing all the parts that have Megaman in it and replace it with something original. So I made the "The Endless Rebellionn - Remade. Reconceptualized. Retold"(TER R3 for short) series. Which is unironically lost in time because image hosting sites at that period worked differently from when we started using them.

At the time, I was already in my 3rd year of college and was finally about to start working on my thesis. I was specializing in Game Art and Design, with nothing else in mind. I decided to make a very ambitious game about TER, and so made The Endless Rebellion R3 - Origins or TER0. Which you guys can still get from Gamejolt. The game was supposedly going to be about Gate, and his adventures from being the "Nightmare Father" to becoming the first "Blade Igniter".

6 months after, I did finish making the prototype of the game... It was bad... but it'll always have a special place in my heart for being my first big project. However, it did make me realize the biggest problem with TER, which ties back to it being a Megaman sprite comic, is the decade worth of lore that I need  to build up to in order to properly make the series.

So, I just left the series as it is and decided to move on and build something from the ground up. Something I can really call my own. But who knows, maybe if the newer generation would be curious enough... maybe it will reTERn...
